Greetings, patricians!

Welcome to another devlog. We have some important updates to share with you guys.

Minting Price

In anticipation of our main collection’s minting date on September 27th 2022, we would like to announce its minting price. Aristocrats will be able to mint our main collection for free, while the public sale will have a fixed price of 0.027eth. We decided to delay the announcement since we were studying very closely how The Merge would affect Ethereum. The price was agreed upon by the developers since we think it is appropriate to respect our own effort since the end of last year. We are a team of a few people, 5 to be exact, with a very limited budget, the majority of which are spent to accommodate the softwares to create 3D hyper-realistic artworks. I myself have not earned a single penny since the start of the project, since I had to stop doing whatever freelance work coming my way. I want to respect my own effort, energy, and ideas, as well as those who have poured their souls and resources into this project.

Art

We have two more characters yet to be revealed. We are planning on revealing them very soon, so stay updated by following our Twitter and joining our Discord server. We will reveal what the next step for the art department of Gotterhavn is once we are past the minting date. But to spill a little bit of something, I want to make a full 3D map of Gotterhavn as a companion to the novel Gotterhavn: Unholy Consortium. I believe that having a map that anyone can check out, complete with description of the regions, the history, and important landmarks, will provide a more immersive experience for anyone diving into the realm of Gotterhavn. We will announce our official plan following the release of our main collection, since plans are subject to change.

Community Event

In our attempt to garner more attention to the project, we have decided to hold a Discord Invite Contest. But since no one participated, we would like to announce that the event is being postponed indefinitely.

Closing Thought

Lastly, I would like to end this devlog on a hopeful note. Whatever the outcome of our main collection mint is, we would still be as passionate about the project. We are so keen on delivering and building this IP that the NFT market does not affect our determination. I want to do a great job, write great novels, build a great community, create a great experience, and I will not be dictated by what the market says about our project.
