Devlog 0.4

26 July 2022

Hello there!

Welcome to Gotterhavn’s fourth devlog, patricians! I hope everything is well with you. I am writing this because there have been quite a few updates I want to communicate.

Development Team

The development team keeps growing with the addition of Alfie! He will be handling the marketing department, including collabs and community. He is passionate about the project, and that’s a very important aspect to have in order to be involved with a passion project such as Gotterhavn. Some of you may have seen him hanging out in the Tavern Talk channel, and that is because he has indeed been in the community for a long time. His interest was piqued when I told him about the direction of the project. We have tested him for two weeks to see if he fits into the team and works within the scope of our vision, and eventually we decided to welcome him into the development team. It will not be an easy journey, but Frodo made it to Mount Doom, despite all odds, and that is a motivation for us.

Art

The characters have entered the rendering stage. It means that I will be able to post more sneak peeks which hopefully will garner some traction, since the art itself is one of the selling factors of our NFT. I will be posting the sneak peeks on our Discord server before Twitter, so our Discord members can have a bit of an advantage in that department. Stay tuned for more awesome artworks!

Community

We have developed some minigames earlier this year, but there had been little to no interest from our community at that time to get involved and play them. Now that our community has seen some growth, I feel like it’s time we finally re-introduce the minigames again! Winners of the minigames will get OG. I swear Gottermaze is a fun game, and even if you’ve won the OG role, participating in it would be a very fun experience!

We hope to bring more updates in the future. We are excited to share more and deliver even more! In the meantime, take care and stay safe!

Kind regards,

June Chevalier
