Hello Patricians!

Welcome to Gotterhavn’s fifth devlog! I hope you’re all doing great. I have some important updates regarding the project, so let’s jump right into it!

Membership NFT

Circle of Aristocrats finally came to public sale, and with a bang too. We were sold out in under 30 minutes, and it’s great to see new faces joining our community. It did not go all smooth, however, as we found out that bots hold so many of the rings, even though we have only allowed for 1 NFT per wallet. It is a lesson for us as a developer so that we could at least minimize the possibility of similar things happening with our main collection. Bots are not only harmful to holders, but also to the developer as they undervalue the project. They can’t be aware of what Aristocrat Rings mean, their benefits, and their connection to our main collection. This could mean a lot of things, but one of them would be that for those who actually study and do their own research about the project and realize the importance of these membership NFTs will be able to get them from the market for quite an affordable price. One thing is clear: our main collection will have a fixed price for the public, and only owners of the rings will get to mint for free. So hopefully, the value of Aristocrat Rings will eventually be carried by it. The good news is that a lot of new patricians managed to sweep the rings from the bots. We are also sweeping some from them for future collaborations and giveaways. Whatever happens, the market will not determine the direction of the project; our roadmap will! Art

I have been working on the next character while all that happened. We revealed Socotris, and we saw that many of the newcomers are excited and enjoying the artworks, which is very encouraging and motivating for me personally. I hope to finish several characters in a week, so expect more sneak peeks in the near future! The Unholy Consortium novel is still in the work. I’ve written the first several chapters a while back, and now we’ve been working on the novel page on our website. We are planning on releasing each chapter of the novel periodically for everyone to read. So stay tuned for it if you’re so excited to jump into the world of Gotterhavn!

Main Collection

Last but not least, I would like to announce that our main collection is planned to release this September. We will make an official announcement about it, but for now, readers of our devlog get to find out about it first right here!
