Eirisse
Patron of Sky and Natural Forces
The wisest and eldest daughter of the Old Gods, Eirisse sits on an exalted position among the heaven dwellers. The Godfather loves her like His own that she is allowed to venture into the forbidden parts of His most strictly undisclosed library. An obsession emerges from her heart as her studies take hold, and though her mind is allured by arcane magic and the mastery of the Godfather’s sorcery, her motherly nature keeps pulling her back from the most evil forms of magic. She longs to care. It is during those days when a courtly treachery begins to catch fire, and Eirisse fails to recognize its signs. A worm has whispered in the Godfather’s ears about Eirisse’s intention to overthrow Him and revive the order of the Old Gods. This enrages Him, and yet He cannot betray His fatherly love towards her. An opportunity arrives when tidings of Gotterhavn’s rise from the ashes reach the Godfather’s throne room. Eirisse is to descend to it and help it thrive once more.
While she dreams of spending years to study, Eirisse cannot deny the prospect of becoming a mother. She agrees; whether she is aware of the Godfather’s intention to exile her, no one knows for certain. What they know is that Eirisse is elated to leave for Gotterhavn. She and Isalda both arrive at the realm and are welcomed by Orivain, the King Patron of Gotterhavn. Instead of spending time discussing political matters with the council in Ferrendal Heights, Eirisse prefers to wander and study the world on her own, and help the suffering class from the brink of death. And for that she is hated by those sitting at the council. Eirisse, though, pays no heed to politics; to her, the worst torture of all is hearing about the suffering and hardship of the people, and then sitting to talk about it with those who understand little of abject misery.
Champions
The masked sorcerer was once a scribe, writing down what Eirisse has remembered from her deep study in the Godfather's library. His knowledge, albeit vast, is only a fraction of what Eirisse actually possesses. It is possible that his mastery of magic is the greatest of anyone in Gotterhavn, only coming second to the gods and goddesses themselves.
