Devlog 0.1

9 June 2022

Hello Patricians!

Welcome to our first devlog! We decided to create this platform as a way to remain transparent with our community about the Gotterhavn Project. We will be updating the progress and talking about anything regarding the development of this project here.

Social Media

Since the departure of some of the developers, we have been working on the strategy to introduce Gotterhavn to a wider audience. We are trying to be more active on Twitter, and we’ve also decided to create a YouTube channel for Gotterhavn where we can post trailers and possibly future recording of live AMAs. We realize that the NFT market on Instagram is not as thriving as that on Twitter, so you may have noticed that we haven’t been very active on Instagram.

Art

The art department has been wild. Since we've been informed about a scam project using our name, we have started to post our sneak peeks with watermark to try and prevent scammers from using it to scam people. We also decided to revamp some of our NFTs which you may have noticed on our recent sneak peek of Illuvia. We no longer choose to stick with the idea of three different timelines, but instead focusing on the Gotterhavn Realm. The result is that Toren will have two more sets of armor! The background also gets reworked. If you pay a close attention, the backgrounds are taken directly from our Trailer 1 scenes.

Lore

Aside from the artworks, June has also been working on the map of Gotterhavn to accompany the novel which we hope might be announced soon. The novel is not finished yet. We plan on posting each chapter frequently on our official website, so this will take a while. We hope you could be patient enough.

Utility

The developer team has also made some progress on the membership NFT. We plan on announcing it very soon, so stay tuned! Spoilers: it’s going to be free mint. On a different but related topic, we have listened to the suggestions of members of our community on the utility department. The team has been discussing our utilities, and so far, we have reached an agreement on some. Note that we are still open to more advices, so be active on our Discord Server!

Last but not least, we the developers are very grateful to have our community. Thank you for sticking with us so far and believing in us. It means a lot to us!

Kind regards,

June Chevalier
