Devlog 0.9

28 September 2022

Welcome to Gotterhavn, patricians! Welcome now that we’ve released our Unholy Consortium collection!

For those new here, devlog is where we report about the development progress and talk about the process and ideas behind Gotterhavn. We are so happy to announce that you can now mint our Unholy Consortium collection over at https://gotterhavn.com/mint !

Minting Day Our minting day started with an issue regarding the super high gas fee. We discovered that this was due to incorporating several smart contracts. We found a way to fix it, but there’s a catch. We need the Aristocrat Rings to remain in our community’s possession. This means that our system is incorporating several smart contracts at once. This is why we're forced to disable bulk minting. But the gas fee will be cheaper in total than the bulk minting gas fee, as we’ve tested.

Minting Sale After looking at the market on day 1, and receiving several feedbacks from our community, our team has decided to reduce the minting price. The public will now be able to mint at 0.007 eth until we have revealed the 5th and last divine entity, which will be included in Gotterhavn - Unholy Consortium collection. The price will be back to 0.027 eth after the last divine has been revealed. We thought that this might attract more people, since we have no big expense on marketing. And even though selling out is not the measure of success of an IP, we cannot abandon the web3 space from which we’ve sprung out.

Art The artworks of the Unholy Consortium collection will be revealed around the week following the minting day. They will be revealed after the 5th and last divine being has been teased. These divine beings will also be included in the collection. I want to present them as actual artworks without the constraint of perspective that we often find in NFTs in general.

Last but not least, we are very happy and grateful to have a supportive community! We appreciate all the patience you’ve shown us during the minting process. We cannot ask for better. Thank you from the deepest of our hearts!

Kind regards,

June Chevalier
